MERCHANT POLICY
Effective Date: 5 June 2026
1. MERCHANT RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchants are solely responsible for all products, services, listings, communications, and business activities conducted through BOOMieY.
Merchants are responsible for:
- Product accuracy;
- Pricing accuracy;
- Inventory management;
- Order fulfillment;
- Shipping and delivery;
- Customer support;
- Warranty obligations;
- Refunds and exchanges;
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Tax reporting and payment obligations;
- Protection of customer information;
- Compliance with BOOMieY policies.
Merchants must ensure that all information provided to customers is truthful, accurate, complete, and not misleading.
2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Merchants must not:
- Sell illegal products or services;
- Publish false or misleading listings;
- Manipulate ratings, reviews, or engagement metrics;
- Misrepresent products, services, pricing, availability, or business credentials;
- Engage in fraud, scams, deceptive marketing, or unlawful business practices;
- Infringe intellectual property rights;
- Upload malicious software or harmful content;
- Create fake transactions or fake customer accounts;
- Circumvent BOOMieY policies, systems, or security measures.
3. PROHIBITED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
The following products or services are prohibited from being listed, promoted, marketed, sold, or distributed through BOOMieY unless expressly authorized in writing by BOOMieY:
- Gambling products or gambling-related services;
- Alcoholic beverages;
- Pork and pork-derived products;
- Tobacco products;
- Vape and e-cigarette products;
- Illegal drugs and narcotics;
- Controlled substances;
- Counterfeit products;
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, and explosives;
- Adult content and sexually explicit products;
- Products that violate intellectual property rights;
- Stolen goods;
- Dangerous or hazardous materials;
- Any product prohibited by applicable law.
BOOMieY reserves the right to expand, modify, or update the list of prohibited products at any time.
4. CUSTOMER DATA RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchants receiving customer information through BOOMieY must:
- Comply with applicable privacy laws;
- Use customer information only for legitimate business purposes;
- Protect customer information from unauthorized access;
- Respect customer privacy rights;
- Refrain from selling or unlawfully disclosing customer information.
Violation of customer privacy obligations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
5. CUSTOMER DISPUTES
Merchants remain fully responsible for:
- Product quality;
- Service quality;
- Delivery performance;
- Refunds and exchanges;
- Warranty claims;
- Customer complaints;
- Customer disputes.
BOOMieY is not responsible for disputes arising between customers and merchants.
BOOMieY may, at its sole discretion, review complaints and take enforcement action against merchants who violate Platform policies.
6. POLICY ENFORCEMENT
BOOMieY reserves the right to:
- Remove listings;
- Restrict merchant functionality;
- Suspend merchant accounts;
- Terminate merchant accounts;
- Remove products;
- Refuse future access to the Platform.
Such actions may be taken where BOOMieY determines that a merchant:
- Violates Platform policies;
- Creates legal risk;
- Creates security risk;
- Creates operational risk;
- Harms customers;
- Damages the reputation or integrity of the Platform.
BOOMieY may take such actions with or without prior notice where permitted by law.
